Intelligent Sensing and Measurement (ISM)

Intelligent Sensing and Measurement (ISM) is one of key enabling technology for the realization of the strategic initiative of state grid to build a ubiquitous power Internet of things.

A main objective for the ISM group is to research and develop key components and algorithms of smart sensing solution to facilitate reliable, cost effective and maintenance-friendly monitoring of state of important power grid infrastructure and appliances. To achieve the goal, ISM group will leverage latest advance of technology in low power design, sensing, energy harvesting and ICT, and will closely cooperate with leading European R&D organizations.
