Global Energy Interconnection Research Institute Europe GmbH (GEIRI Europe) focuses on applied research into technologies for new energies and intelligent power grids. GEIRI Europe is a subsidiary of the Beijing-based Global Energy Interconnection Research Institute Co. Ltd., which in turn is a subsidiary of the State Grid Corporation of China.
