The HEM research group has successfully developed a set of ±320kV HVDC cable accessories (including cable termination and joint) based on SiR technology, first of its kind in the cable accessories industry. The rated transmission power of our design can reach 1GW in a ±320kV HVDC-VSC cable system. In 2017, these cable accessories have successfully passed the type tests at two qualified testing facilities (CNRS certification see below).
